What is the difference between a headshot and portrait session?

A headshot is usually straight forward , evenly lit, representation of what you look like. Quality headshots of your team shows your client you care about the people you work with.

A portrait can tell a story, show more personality, reflect your environment and what you do. It can be more creative, have moody lighting, have an editorial feel. These are usually longer sessions, it can end with one strong photo, or a collection to use across your brand and publications. Maybe the executive team needs more than the headshot, to show where you work, in multiple spaces and poses. Maybe you are a small business owner who does it all, and you want to highlight that. Maybe you are an artist and you want your work reflected in the images.
